What: The courtroom, where Knut Hamsun was convicted
Where: Grimstad library, Knut Hamsuns plass, 4876 Grimstad, Norway
Here it is: Leave E18 and drive towards Grimstad centre on rv420. In downtown Grimstad, follow the harbour on Pharos vei/Smith Pedersen gate. From here Storgaten leads up in the towncentre, follow it to no. 44. The square in front of the library is now named after Knut Hamsun. You'll find the former courtroom in the present childrens' library.
Today, the room houses happy children and childrens' book. Only Ms. Justitia reminds us of the past.
